If your university has an agreement with the University of Clermont Auvergne you may be selected to come and study as an exchange student. Several international programmes may enable you to visit as an Erasmus student, under a bilateral agreement or as part of the BCI programmes with Quebec in Canada.

How and when to submit your application: key steps

Step 1

First you must contact the international office of your home university and ask them how to apply for an exchange programme. Be aware that a B2 level of French may be required to follow some classes. UCA will help you to register for French as a Foreign Language (FLE) classes if needed. FLE classes are free for Erasmus students studying at UCA.

Step 2

After being selected by your home university, you will have to complete our online application form.

For the 2020/21 academic year, the deadlines for application are as follows:
  • Autumn semester & Academic Year:  5 June 2020
  • Spring semester: 15 November 2020

Step 3

The online application form must be completed with the following documents:

  • Your Learning Agreement duly completed and signed by the tutor responsible for the exchange in your home institution;
  • A mobility certificate;
  • The accommodation reservation form if you are interested in university accommodation;
  • A copy of your ID (identity card or passport);
  • An ID photo.

Step 4

We will send you a letter of acceptance and a response regarding university accommodation if you requested it in July.

Please note that your home university as well as UCA must be informed of any modification or cancellation of your visit!
